Today we are proud to announce a very special addition to the MLOVE ConFestival line up.
Kazi Islam, the CEO of Grameenphone IT will join MLOVE ConFestival 2010 to keynote and share the insights of the largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh. Grameenphone was founded by Mohammad Yunus, who was awarded the Noble Peace Price in 2006 for the micro credit concept of the Grameen Bank. Now, the Village Phone (Polli Phone) project of Grameen Phone has brought cell-phone ownership to 260,000 rural poor in over 50,000 villages since the beginning of the project in March 1997 – an outstanding example of mobile social entrepreneurship.
We are honored, that Mr. Islam will be traveling exclusivly to MLOVE ConFestival 2010.
