The Venue
An essential aspect of the MLOVE experience is the uniqueness of the venue.
The Confestival takes place in the magical setting of a nineteenth century castle, set in rolling hills and forest in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. During the course of its history, the castle’s 100 rooms have been used a lodge house for Freemasons, the headquarters of the Free Trade Union Confederation and as the offices of the governor of Saxony.
Lovingly restored, the castle exudes warmth and comfort. The ballroom will act as our hub for presentations. Various rooms will be used for break-out discussions and we are converting one of the enormous barns for our Future Cubes. And there will plenty of time for fireside chats next to one of the three marble fireplaces or even a singalong next to the baby grand piano.
Accommodation/ MLOVE shuttle service
The MLOVE ConFestival castle will only cater for the actual event BUT not for accommodation. We kindly ask our participants to book rooms in different local hotels close to the actual MLOVE ConFestival castle which we have carefully selected for you as listed below. All reservations include breakfast. Please note that some of the hotels are castles as well BUT are not the castle the event will take place!
To guarantee a relaxed and convenient stay, we have organized an MLOVE cab shuttle service for little money that will collect you in the morning from your hotel and takes you to the MLOVE ConFestival castle and returns you in the evening.

Travel information
Shuttle Service
From 11am to 4pm, on Wednesday, 23rd of June a cab shuttle service will collect you at Halle (Saale) main station.
Please go to the main exit and a MLOVE host will welcome you. The host will direct you to the MLOVE cab shuttles. From there on the shuttles will bring you back and forth to the hotel and the MLOVE ConFestival venue. To be right on time for the MLOVE ConFestival Opening we highly recommend you to arrive before 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Halle main station. On Saturday morning between 9.00 am and 11.00 am a shuttle will collect you from your hotel and brings you to Halle (Saale) main station.

Taxi
For about 36 Euros a taxi takes you within 30 minutes to Halle (Saale) main station
Train
From Platform 2 goes from 5 a.m. every hour a train at 06 and 52 to Halle (Saale) main station. It takes around 12 min., about 6 Euros.

Arrival in Altenburg (Airport)
On Wednesday, June 23rd at 11.40 a.m. a flight goes from London Stansted to Altenburg. Arrival at 13.40. A shuttle will pick you up and carries you to your hotel. A shuttle will bring you on Saturday morning, the 26th of June to Altenburg Airport.
Arrival in Berlin Tegel (Airport)
Take a Taxi to the Hauptbahnhof (main station), duration 15 minutes and costs about 20 Euro. Due to current traffic hints, it is not possible to go by bus.
From the Hauptbahnhof (main station) take the train directly to Halle (Saale) main station.

Take a Taxi to Südkreuz Bhf, takes 20 minutes and costs about 30 Euro .
Bus
Take the Bus SXF1 (Bus Station at Terminal A, from 06.00 a.m. every twenty minutes)
Get off at the end of the line Südkreuz Bhf
From Südkreuz Bhf take the train directly to Halle (Saale) main station.

Arrival in Frankfurt (Airport)
Take the train from the Airport Station to Halle(Saale) main station, it takes about 4hours.
